Unit5 Do you want to watch a game show?说课设计 【教材分析】本单元以“do you want to watch a game show?”为话题展开教学,首先通过图文将学生带入“谈论电视节目”的语境中,并呈现了不同电视节目类型的表达方式,以及句型。让学生学会各种电视节目的英文表达,再让学生学会怎样用英语表达对不同电视节目以及事物的厌恶。通过用学生们熟悉的电视节目提高学生们学习兴趣,在通过简单的口语练习,使学生积极参与,合作,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
本课是该单元的第一课时,它安排了关于部分电视节目类型的单词,以及简单的表述厌恶的句子,为以后能正确表达自己的情感作出了准备。
【教学目标】 一、功能:Talk about preferences and make plans . 二、语言目标 1. 熟练掌握以下词汇:comedy, meaningless, action, action movie, scary movie 2. 口、笔头掌握以下句型:John wants to watch talk shows because they’re enjoyable. I like to watch action movies because they’re exciting. 三、技能目标: Ss can grasp the names of different kinds of TV shows and movies. Through listening and speaking, students can use adjectives to describe different kinds of TV shows and movies. 四、情感态度: Lead students to retail(转述)other’s views in a realistic way. 【教学重难点】 1. 1. 熟练掌握以下词汇:comedy, meaningless, action, action movie, scary movie 2. 口、笔头掌握以下句型:John wants to watch talk shows because they’re enjoyable. (设计意图:上课初,向学生展示学习课题与学习目标,帮助他们明确这一节课的学习任务所在。) StepⅡ. Pre-listening activities 1.Preview (1)Look at the pictures and write down different kinds of movies and TV shows. (2)Ask the students to open their books to P36 and read by themselves . Then say out these words and sentences orally according to the Chinese. C: A and B Check the Ss’ answers. 2. Listen to the conversation more carefully and find the specific ideas (1)Ask the Ss to listen again and circle the description words they hear in the box in 1a. (2) 1c Listen again. Write down the words John and Mary use to describe the TV shows or movies. (3) Then ask the Ss to listen to the tape and finish the tape scripts. The Ss can help each other and have a discussion after doing the following by themselves. 一、meaningless -less 是单词后缀,它与后缀 -ful 构成一对反义词。所以meaningless的反义词为 ,类似的词有 careful, helpful, useful 等,它们的反义词分别是 , , 。
